Mission
I launched Reel & Racket out of a desire to blend two passions of mine: Tennis and Fly-Fishing. I am a strong believer that without your health, you have nothing. I want to promote a culture of healthy living and constant self improvement. R&R isn't just about teaching two sports I love-- it's a brand deeply rooted in a desire to get outside and calm the mind.
Tennis
I've played tennis since I can remember, traveling around New England, and the Country, for Junior Tennis tournaments. I played Division III College Tennis at Franklin & Marshall College and began teaching about 10 years ago! Tennis has always been such an important part of my life--instilling values of hard work, solo problem solving and mental toughness. I enjoy teaching players of all abilities and can also be a great hitting partner for competitive junior players looking for match practice.
Fly Fishing
I credit my love of fishing to a man named Ron, who used to guide me in Vermont. I studied how focused he was on the craft; how patient he was, and ultimately, how rewarding it was when he got a bite. I continued to hone the craft and started finding new streams where I could find wild fish. There's nothing quite like stepping into a river and enjoying nature, while you strategically and tactically place a fly where you want it to go. I'm excited to share this passion with others.
